The Role of Chromium in the Human Body

Doctors frequently recommend chromium supplementation for patients with insulin resistance. However, individuals with low blood sugar should avoid chromium-based supplements. Daily chromium requirements vary by age and gender. Consulting with a doctor before beginning supplementation with this essential mineral is advisable for achieving overall metabolic health.
